It's actually amazing that even with ergonomic keyboards, the keys are still arranged in the same way as on typewriters from the 1860s - namely always slightly offset, so that your fingers have to make strange movements.
The Truly Ergonomic Mechanical Keyboard has finally taken the decisive step and simply arranged the keys symmetrically and linearly. A small change with a big impact!
This keyboard has just as many keys as a conventional keyboard in 60% less space - without shrinking the keys significantly. The narrower arrangement ensures that you have a better posture and can place your arms closer together. The distance you have to travel to reach for the mouse is also shortened as a result. The padded ball rest offers additional comfort during breaks.
This keyboard doesn't even lack multimedia keys and there is an entire numpad hidden in the right-hand area. You can make additional settings with a DIP switch, e.g. assign the tab function to the left space bar.
Of course, a real ergonomic keyboard cannot do without a very special feature: Mechanical switches. The TECK (Truly Ergonmic Computer Keyboard) is also equipped with tried and tested mechanical switches from Kailh, so that you can type for a long time without tiring. The quiet Brown Switches of the next generation have been selected.

The layout of the keyboard can be completely reprogrammed. The manufacturer provides a convenient online tool which directly outputs the appropriate file. There are no limits to your imagination when arranging the keys. The layouts are saved directly in the keyboard and can be changed easily. This makes it possible to use the keyboard to switch between several PCs without having to install special software on each device.
The gold-plated mechanical switches provide clearly perceptible tactile feedback for every switching operation and are extremely robust with 50 million switching cycles. The keyboard also supports full N-key rollover.
The two versions differ in wide Alt keys on both sides on version 227 or 2 additional keys and shorter Alt keys on version 229. Version 229 has a menu key on the left and the Windows key on the right.
