If you only associate origami with small cranes, you’ve probably never heard of the "bug wars" that took place in the 1960s. Several folding professionals got into a competition to see who could fold the best and most natural beetles or other insects. This revolutionised a technique that was several centuries old.
If your fingers are itching for origami too, but the classic ones are too complicated for you, these Origami 3D Craft Sets are just the thing for you. Choose from a variety of animals to assemble as three-dimensional paper sculptures. Choose wisely between bee, spider, scorpion, cobra, bat, mice or fox – or simply treat yourself to a little private zoo by taking several at once. Don't worry, there are no rivalries or predators between paper animals ;).
If you like animals, you probably also have a heart for the environment. Fortunately, that doesn't have to suffer with these craft sets, because these figures don't need any glue or plastic.
Each set comes with several pieces of paper already cut to size. Lines are drawn on them along which you have to fold the paper to get a basic module. The animals are assembled from these individual, patented components. In order to know exactly which part goes where, check out the detailed illustrated instructions included or the video available for each set. Due to the number of individual parts, the difficulty level of the individual figures varies between easy and moderately difficult but is manageable for children as young as 8 years old. All that’s needed is a little patience and sure instinct.
