Do you have data on your hard drive that strangers shouldn't know about? It's best to store it only in an encrypted form. With this new hard drive enclosure, this is no longer a problem at all:
Access to the hard drive in this enclosure is only possible after a fingerprint test - access is thus denied to unauthorized persons. And to ensure that protection cannot be bypassed by simply removing the hard drive, all data is stored encrypted using the TDES algorithm.
The connection is incredibly simple: you just need to insert a 2.5" hard drive into the enclosure, connect it via USB, and after the correct fingerprint is recognized, the hard drive is recognized as a removable drive.
Unfortunately, the software for registering the correct fingerprint is currently only available for Windows.
