Instead of cannons and musketeers, Elves, Rohirrim, Giant Eagles, Orcs, Black Riders, and Cave Trolls authentically compete against each other and fight for dominance over well-known regions like Rohan, Mordor, and more.
To bring some variety into the familiar gameplay, the game introduces optional special rules that reflect the impact of the Fellowship's adventures on the War of the Ring. Thus, you can, for example, strengthen your armies, earn bonus points for controlled fortresses, and discover entirely new facets of Risk!
