At this point, we would like to clear up the widespread prejudice that geeks do not like plants. The problem that geeks have with plants is rather that they require constant care, which can sometimes be forgotten when concentrating on programming. This is where the Plantarium comes into play:
The Plantarium consists of a plexiglass case filled with a special gel. This gel provides all the nutrients a plant needs - not even watering is necessary anymore. Additionally, the gel is transparent, so you can observe the plants not only above the ground. The natural research drive of a geek can thus be easily satisfied, as you can now observe the growth of the plant roots.
The Plantarium comes with three different seeds (parsley, garden cress, and thyme) that you only need to sprinkle on the gel. When the plants become too large for the case, you can remove the lid and replace the gel with the supplied soil or transplant the plant into a regular flower pot.
Our version - the Plantarium Super - has an extra-large case.
When the gel is used up, by the way, you don't need to buy a new Plantarium - you can simply refill it with the refill gel. The refill set offers everything for a one-time refill of your Plantarium.
